I can't believe these images - the worst I have seen EVER. Go and learn how to photograph or else don't photograph at all.

These are lousy pics - don't dump them here, please!

Low quality pictures like this one don't belong here. Sorry to be so harsh - but this (and the others) need to go to the trash bin.

Hi, Kathy:

I have a friend who lives in Hermanus - we'll dive if the weather and viz conditions are right.

Yes, KZN (Aliwal Shoal is great for tiger sharks and black tips!

I only freedive / snorkel with sharks (am not certified, never will).

I have introduced many scuba divers to snorkelling with the tigers of Aliwal Shoal - they all loved it!! If you are interested, let me know so that we could arrange meeting in Scotbburgh.

I dive with the folks of Blue Wilderness, the Addisons are good friends of mine. Google "Blue Wilderness".

Best,

W.

Wolfgang,

I only borrowed the Mark V helmet (circa 1943) to experience "old school" diving. They have a program for certified divers in Key Largo that allows you to do that. I received it for my birthday several years back.

If you need a real hard helmet there is a dive museum down in Islamorada that could possibly sell you one. Pretty pricey, though. Let me know if you need a contact person. The museum is interesting to visit if you get a chance.

From my rudimentary Spanish, it looks like you are going to dive Tiger Beach? A great shallow dive. Last time I was there we had about 4 or 5 Lemon Sharks. The Tigers were a no show. :( Best of luck and good diving to you.

Thanks, Matt. Helmet divers were the heroes of my early childhood ; I am talking about the late forties - these tough divers ignited my life-long passion for the undersea world.
